Mandate Mayhem (Gamedev.js Jam 2025)
The goal of the game is to reach 20 happiness and win, if you reach 20 chaos first you lose. You can spend money in a list of different areas like health care, education, entertainment, etc for your city. Each area increases or decreases happiness, chaos, or tax (amount of money earned per month)
This is a short game made by Arnold and I. We are both currently in school so did not have as much time as we would've liked to finish this game. I would be interested in continuing work if anyone thinks there is potential, one idea we did not have enough time to implement was random events that has a choice on how you react and good or bad outcomes from your choice. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Enjoy!
